Aeration
Sizing an Aeration System for Your Pond
Too little aeration under-performs; too much wastes money. Here’s what determines the right system for your water.

The right aeration system matches your pond’s size, depth and layout, plus the power available at the site. Here’s what goes into sizing.
What determines the size
- Surface area & volume. Bigger ponds need more air and often more than one diffuser.
- Depth. Deeper water needs compressors rated to push air down further.
- Shape. Long or irregular ponds may need diffusers placed to circulate the whole body.
- Power. Off-grid sites point to windmill or solar; grid power opens up electric.
When in doubt, ask
Getting sizing right the first time saves money and gets better results. Share your pond’s dimensions and we’ll recommend a configuration. Request a recommendation or browse systems.
